This point type is designed to make a clean penetration in woven materials. This high-quality chrome-plated needle works well for general embroidery on medium-weight woven fabrics. One of the most popular blade sizes, it works well with standard 40 embroidery thread. 

May be used on finished caps, and is ideal for bags and denim. Not recommended for knit fabrics.
